Full-Stack Web & SaaS Platforms — questions

What this package covers, and how working with me from Bangladesh runs

Usually both. Next.js handles the product UI, marketing pages and SEO with server components on Vercel. NestJS runs the API: auth, roles, billing webhooks, background jobs and anything a mobile app or third party also needs. For a very small product I will keep everything in Next.js route handlers to save cost; once you have webhooks, queues or multiple clients, a separate NestJS service with PostgreSQL and Prisma pays for itself.

Supabase is a great fit for early products: managed Postgres, auth, storage and row-level security without running a server, and I build on it often. A custom NestJS backend earns its place when you need complex business logic, multi-tenant isolation, job queues, Stripe billing flows or an API other teams consume. I will recommend whichever keeps your first year cheaper and simpler, and both can be migrated later.

I'm a freelance AI product developer from Rajshahi, Bangladesh, working under the name Mursalin's Desk. I build AI agent SaaS products, AI-powered mobile apps with React Native and Expo, MVPs for startups, AI integrations for existing products, and full-stack web platforms on Next.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL. I also take on AI strategy and fractional CTO engagements for founders who need senior technical leadership without a full-time hire.

I'm based in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and also work from Dhaka. Most of my clients are remote — startups and small companies in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the EU. I can meet in person in Rajshahi or Dhaka when that helps, but every project I run is set up to work fully remotely from day one: shared repo, project board, async updates and scheduled calls.
